Operating principle
Due to its multicomponent composition, Hexalysis is a combination drug:
- Biclotymol has an antiseptic effect, as it can destroy various types of bacteria. The substance causes the coagulation of protein molecules in microbial cells and acts in the oropharynx long enough. Biclotymol also has anti-inflammatory properties.
- Due to the presence of enoxolone, the drug lowers the sensitivity of the nerve endings in the mucous membrane, as a result of which the pain in the pharynx and the tonsils decreases. In addition to the analgesic effect, this ingredient also has an anti-inflammatory effect.
- Lysozyme is a natural factor that can protect the mucous membrane. It is normally produced in glandular cells and is a mucopolysaccharide. In lysozyme, antimicrobial activity is noted, as well as antiviral effect. This component activates the local immunity in the oropharynx, and also helps to neutralize and eliminate toxic substances.
