If the nursery’s space is rather limited, and there are only two children living in it, parents have to seriously think about how to place everything necessary in the room. Arguing about the key factors that make it necessary to make a choice in favor of an angular bunk bed, it should be noted that usually this design, in one way or another, is supplemented with some more pieces of furniture - usually either a wardrobe or a table acts as an addition, although which is part of the headset and the one and the other.

Contrary to the seeming simplicity, there are quite a few variations of this design, and all of them are designed for maximum compliance with the living conditions of a particular apartment.

The simplest solution is an ordinary bunk bed plus a separate closet or any other furniture located nearby, along the neighboring wall. Such furniture is convenient for redevelopment, due to which you can count on its long-term use. As an alternative, a partial overhang of the upper tier above such a side cabinet is possible.

Much attention is paid to the creators and to the complex structure to ensure maximum functionality even where you do not expect it at all. Some cabinets with a sliding mechanism allow you to hide a small table inside the case, which is very convenient if the room does not manage to organize a full-fledged separate playing and working area.

When purchasing corner bunk beds, parents usually have a lot of pressure in the free space, so they tend to put this factor at the forefront. On the one hand, the size of the apartment dictates its own conditions, on the other - you should not take what is clearly not useful for children. In this regard, the first thing you should pay attention to is the size of the beds. It is considered that the width of a bed for a child is normally about 70 cm, and the length should be about 15-20 cm in height. Do not forget that children grow, therefore it is better to purchase furniture with a size reserve, however, it’s about children's furniture, so do not bend the stick - on the big bed kids can be scary. As for the height, the lower part should be low, especially - if the youngest child sleeps there, who is still quite small; 50-60 cm is the limiting value for its height.

As for the size of the cabinet, it is completely at the discretion of buyers, there are no specific recommendations on this matter. It is believed that the normal width of the tabletop for one child should be at least a meter, although in practice 70-80 cm is also sufficient. The depth of the table should not be less than half a meter.

Let's start with what you shouldn’t buy exactly - it’s Chipboard. Many manufacturers today offer cheap chipboard headsets, but cheap, as often happens, does not meet even the minimum requirements. This material, in addition to low strength and durability, is also more toxic, its use in residential areas, and even more so in the nursery, is not recommended.

It is best to purchase this kind of headset from solid wood, because it is a guarantee of durability, strength and complete safety for kids. Considering the significant load on the body, it is very important that metal reinforcement be provided for wooden supports - this applies to both classic bunk beds and cabinets, which are lucky to carry the second tier.

If the money to buy this wooden furniture is not enough, try to pay attention to the furniture made from slabs MDF. Such a solution will cost much less, and the loss of strength will be relatively low, although in this case attention to metal reinforcement should be doubly increased. Usually MDF is completely environmentally friendly, but it will never be superfluous to ask the seller about certificates.

Buying a bunk corner headset can be both successful and unsuccessful. Evaluation of the final result depends on the observance of several simple rules:

• Focus on the needs of children. Berths in size and availability should fully comply with the current age of the kids, and if you are not ready to change the furniture regularly, then be calculated with a margin. The same applies to additions to the bed itself - if there is already a closet in the room, you may not need to take another one as part of the headset and block their room. The best option in this situation would be a set with a table or desk.

• Do not save on safety and watch out for the absence of toxic materials. High cost usually means quality, because no one will buy expensive and low-quality goods, but what does low price mean? With all the desire to save, you should understand what makes this savings possible, because the safety of your children is at stake.
• Keep track of design compatibility. A large number of furniture purchased with one set has a positive effect on the interior, because all the details are in harmony with each other. However, the design of the room is not limited to the new headset, there is still other furniture, textiles, accessories and wall decoration - everything must be designed in a certain uniform style and common palette.
