It will also be very appropriate when the boys in the family have two or more, but the room they have is only one, common - even sharing a room with a brother from childhood, any person needs to have a corner that would be his own and be separated from the rest of the territory.

Modern versions of materials for finishing the ceiling are quite diverse both in appearance and in operational properties. They should be studied more carefully:

• PVC fabric and film. These materials are used for popular in recent years. stretch ceilings, the distinctive characteristic of which is the possibility to apply the most diverse images both chosen by the designer and ordered by the consumer. Due to this feature, such a solution is highly demanded by parents, but various types of fabric that are of natural origin and create a special comfort are of great success.
• Drywall Plasterboard ceiling where it is less often decorated with pictures, but also allows color coloring, and the main thing - allows any experiments with a form. This is the best option for creating complex multi-level structures that are great for both zoning and aesthetic pleasure. Among other things, it is drywall ceilings that are best suited for hiding under them not only communications, but also lighting fixtures entirely. The material is good for its absolute naturalness.
• Paint or wallpaper. Classic materials, which are used relatively rarely today, and consumer attention is attracted, first of all, by its cheapness. Among other things, they are also good because they are relatively easy to replace at any time.Nevertheless, even in the best performance, this solution looks no more than four. In addition, it is the only kind of ceiling, which does not allow to hide communications at all.

The most common type of ceiling - single level. All of the painted and wallpaper-covered versions, as well as the majority of stretch and half of the drywall ceilings, belong to this. The popularity of this particular type is due to the maximum simplicity of the realization of the idea, while it reveals almost all the advantages of each of the materials.

Two-level ceiling - this is a tribute to complex design impulses. Initially, such an option appeared in low rooms, where even a minimal chandelier seemed out of place — for lighting, small and unattractive externally luminaires that hid in the body of the ceiling were used for illumination, and that, in general, it was not lowered too low, they were built in only along walls. This made it possible to leave the center of the room higher, thereby achieving an interesting combination of good light and a high ceiling. Later, designers began to use such a move to impart complex artistic forms to the ceiling, and as a result, multi-level ceilings appeared, the number of levels in which is practically unlimited.

In the boy's room, the ceiling is usually quite a bright contrast to the decoration of the walls and other elements of the interior, although you still should not make it completely detached from the palette - let it echo, for example, with textiles. Design patterns are less common when the ceiling either does not differ at all from the walls, or does not significantly recede from their color. In the first case, it is very important to highlight at least some accents to avoid the effect of a whole box, in the second case - to clearly define the degree of difference, usually it does not exceed 1-2 tones.

There are no special recommendations or restrictions on the choice of the color of the ceiling in the boy's room - except that pink will be completely inappropriate there.

In a situation where the choice was made in favor of a complex image on the ceiling, pay special attention to its compatibility with the room as a whole. Perhaps you need not so much a roll with other interior items in terms of colors, but rather an exposure in a general style. For example, it is not out of place to hang toy airplanes on the ceiling with the image of a starry sky, and small flags of world countries hung on the walls will successfully complement the ceiling map of the world. If preference was given to a monotonous or almost monotonous variant, use the color to stimulate the desired qualities of the child.

When all characteristics are studied, it remains only to give a few simple tips that will make the final choice even more successful. So:

• Before buying, consider how soon you are ready to change the ceiling. If you want him to serve for a long time, choose a neutral option that is not tied to the hobbies of the child, as they change over the years. The situation is a little complicated by the fact that the kids are very fond of bright, and for teens optimally something more relaxed, so look for a middle ground. If there is no problem in changing the ceiling every few years, be guided by the current interests and needs of the son as much as possible.
• All that is needed for a preschooler or younger student is a good mood. If the parents do not set any other tasks for themselves, it is best to turn to the proven option - the ceiling with images of your favorite movie characters and cartoons. Dreamy boys can also be interested in science, decorating the ceiling with a starry sky or a map of the world.
• Teens tend to express themselves, so the ceiling may be the most unexpected things. However, the rebellious nature is not always reflected precisely in the appearance of the room - often a young man, perceiving himself as an adult who has formed, wants an ordinary ceiling in his room, which is not radically different from “adult” solutions.

The ceiling in the nursery does not necessarily have to be fundamentally different from any other - for example, in the first photo we see the child’s bedroom, but the same solution would be appropriate in the parent.
