For the first sample, it is worth taking lean oceanic or river fish, for example, pike perch, pollock, hake or carp. Enter fish puree from small doses (from half a teaspoon), observing whether there is a reaction to it, because this product is classified as allergenic.
It is best to cook the baby yourself at the beginning of the introduction of fish foods. Washed fish in running water (soak it is not worth it, as this affects the protein and mineral composition of the product) carefully clean, removing all the bones. If you bought a fish already in the form of a fillet, before cooking, still check if there are any bones left in it. Immerse the fish fillets in boiling water, then all the nutrients remain inside the product.
You can give your baby and ready meals, in which the fish sauce can be one-component or combined with cereals, butter, and vegetables. Tips
Breast milk or infant formula has already ceased to be the main food for most ten-month-old babies, but pediatricians are not advised to even wean from the breast or stop feeding the mixture. Optimally, if the child will receive such food in the morning feeding and before bedtime.
- Try to grind food less so that the baby gets used to chewing, especially since many children at this age already have several teeth.
