- do not allow the development of complications.
Indications
Most often, "Meditonzin" is prescribed for influenza, parainfluenza and other acute respiratory infections.
With such diseases, it is recommended to start taking drops as soon as possible - as soon as the first symptoms appear (loss of appetite, lethargy, tearfulness, etc.).
In addition, the drug may be included in the complex treatment of various pathologies of the upper respiratory tract, as well as the upper respiratory tract. In such cases, it is prescribed to enhance the protective forces (to help the immune system) and to prevent complications.
From what age is prescribed?
The manufacturer recommends giving Meditonzin not earlier than the patient is 1 year old.
Use for infants is not recommended, because there is ethanol in the solution, and the effectiveness for this age group has not been tested.
Contraindications
The use of "Meditonzina" is prohibited in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the solution. Due to the presence in the composition of ethyl alcohol, the question of use in patients with pathologies of the liver or brain must be solved individually.
Side effects
While taking Meditonzin, there may be signs of allergies, such as itchy skin or swelling. In such a situation, the further use of the drops must be abandoned, as with the deterioration of the child’s condition, which sometimes occurs in the first days of homeopathy.
In rare cases, the tool provokes increased saliva production. If this or another adverse symptom appears due to treatment with Meditonzin, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
Instructions for use
Drops are taken orally for 20-30 minutes before meals or 20-30 minutes after the child has eaten. After giving the small patient a solution, you need to ask him to hold the agent for a short time in the mouth, and then swallow.
A single dose depends on how old the child is.
- A child older than a year who is not yet six years old is given 2 to 5 drops.
- A child at the age of 6-12 years old is offered an amount of 3-6 drops per reception.
- From the age of 12, the dosage ranges from 5 to 10 drops per time.
Meditonzin's regimen for acute diseases provides for more frequent use in the first days, when the symptoms are very pronounced. Drops give up to 12 times a day with an interval of 30-60 minutes.
As soon as the child begins to feel better, the drug can be given less frequently, reducing the frequency of intake to one to three times a day.
It is necessary to drink "Meditonzin" as long as the doctor prescribed, but most often the remedy is taken within 7 days. If there are no improvements after two or three days from the beginning of the drops, you need to re-examine and replace the treatment.
Overdose and drug interactions
There is no information about the cases when the child took too much of the solution, which caused the poisoning. In case of overdose, observation is recommended. If the patient's condition worsens, you will need to be examined by a doctor. "Meditonzin" is compatible with other homeopathic medicines, and with drugs that are also prescribed for influenza, bronchitis, sinusitis, etc.
Terms of sale and storage
Meditonzin is sold without a prescription, but it is advisable to show the child to the pediatrician before purchasing such a drug. The average price of one bottle of solution is 350-370 rubles.
The shelf life of sealed drops is 3 years. The opened tool can be stored no longer than three months from the date of first use. It is not necessary to put the bottle in the refrigerator, as the manufacturer recommends storing the drug at a temperature below 25 degrees Celsius.
Reviews
Most of the Meditonzine reviews are positive. Moms call these drops effective and easy to use. They also note that the effectiveness of the remedy is higher if you start taking it at the first symptoms of the flu and cold.

Instead of "Meditonzin" other means can be used, which are related to homeopathy and are in demand in the treatment of colds and flu, and are also often prescribed for prophylactic receiving in the season of rising incidence of SARS. The most popular among them are "Anaferon", "Ergoferon", "Influcid"," Aflubin ","Oscillococcinum"," Viburkol " and other drugs.
