• water repellent fabric (bologna);
• threads;
• elastic;

In order for the dirt from the wet wheels not to stain the floor covering in the apartment, the fabric for the covers must be waterproof, but, at the same time, not very dense, otherwise you will not be able to firmly tighten the elastic on the cover. The ideal version of the fabric will be Bolonian or something similar. Before you begin cutting the fabric, it is necessary to measure the diameter and length of the circumference of the wheels.

Cut the required number of circles from the fabric, which should be 20 centimeters more than the diameter of the wheel itself. Then cut rectangles with a width of 6 centimeters, and a length of 3 centimeters longer than the circumference of the wheel. The number of rectangles should be the same as the number of circles, and drawstrings will be made from them.

If the fabric is sprinkled around the edges, it should be swept over manually or on the overlock. Rectangles need to be bent in half and sew to the circles. Before stitching the parts, the circles are assembled by comparing their circumference with the length of the rectangles. A drawstring is put into the drawstring (using a pin), clamps are put on the ends. Lace can be replaced with a clothesline elastic. Ready-made covers visually resemble a small beret.Covers for swiveling front wheels can be made in the form of a strip, the edges of which are tightened by an elastic band. On numerous online forums, you can find reviews in which moms write that wet wheels, while in the covers, rust. In fact, this problem occurs only in cheap brands of strollers. If, however, there are concerns about the condition of the wheels of the stroller, it is worth purchasing protective covers that cover only the rubber part of the wheel.

Although there are on the forums and those who have never used similar devices for wheelchairs. As an alternative, used rugs: old tablecloths, a bundle of socks and tights, and similar products, on which all the dirt flows. Someone leaves the stroller on the staircase, and after the dirt dries, brushing it off the wheels with a broom, someone immediately washes the wheels.

Some mothers write that the use of covers of dark colors (burgundy, black) can leave stripes on light linoleum and laminate.
