From his first marriage with makeup artist Sunetra Sastri, Atkinson has two older children - a son, Benji, and a daughter, Lily. After 24 years of marriage, the couple divorced. The reason for the breakup was the new passion of the comedian by his young colleague on the stage, Louise.
