Russia plans to pay benefits for children under 7 years old
The State Duma has begun consideration of the draft law. on the payment of a monthly allowance for children under 7 years old who did not have enough space in kindergarten or nursery.
The amount of the allowance will be 3,000 rubles.
Today in Russia, the shortage of kindergartens has almost been eliminated, but there are still not enough groups for kids from a year and a half.
First of all, we started to build kindergartens and groups for three-year-olds and older for the money allocated by the state, because their mothers basically have nowhere to go - when the child is 3 years old, the mother is obliged to go to work or quit.
For moms who would like to work earlier, there are nursery groups, but their sorely lacking. And because the place is not for every kid.
It is on them that parents will be able to receive a monthly allowance.
The new law will determine the procedure for processing and receiving cash payments, as well as regulates the circumstances of the termination of payments, for example, if there is a place in the kindergarten, but later.
