Abducting Fathers: Investigators are looking for small children brought to the Middle East
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation is looking for young Russians from Krasnoyarsk, who could have been taken to Afghanistan.
Three years ago, according to the investigation, two men with their babies two, four and five years old left Russia. Investigators suggest that they went to Iran. There is information that the kids were later taken to Afghanistan.
Criminal proceedings were instituted against each of the fathers on the facts of unlawful deprivation of liberty of minors.
For more than two years, the mothers of these children do not know anything about what is happening with their babies. Men who acted together do not contact.
It should be noted that initially both mothers gave their notarized consent on departure of children abroad. But after several months of lack of information from former husbands, they despaired of waiting and went to the police.
The search lasted a long time, did not succeed, the police transferred the case to the Investigation Committee.
Both abducting fathers are natives of Tajikistan. One mother is also from Tajikistan, the second is from Krasnoyarsk. Now investigators are working on several versions. One of them is the possible connection of the fathers of young children with terrorists.
