Nooklerin for children: instructions for use

The drugs, called nootropics, are in demand for various disorders of the nervous system, problems with memory, sleep, attention, and learning. “Nooklerin” also belongs to this group of drugs. This medication is often prescribed to adults, as it is contraindicated at an early age, but sometimes it is prescribed to schoolchildren and adolescents.

"Nooklerin" is a product of the company "Peak-Pharma", in the assortment of medicines of which there are such popular drugs as "Elkar"And"Pantogam". The only dosage form of "Nooklerin" is a solution that must be taken orally. It is sold in a bottle of dark glass in a volume of 100 ml. The bottle is attached measuring 5-ml spoon, which has a mark "1/2" to measure 2.5 ml, and sometimes the mark "1/4", allowing you to gain 1.25 ml.

The solution itself has a yellow or pink tint and smells specifically. Its main component is called deanol acylglumate and consists of two compounds: deanol and acetylglutamic acid. Their dosage in 1 ml of solution is 200 mg (that is, the concentration of such a drug is 20%), and one full measuring spoon contains 1 g of active substances. Additional ingredients of the drug are propyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water, xylitol and methyl parahydroxybenzoate.

The structure of the active components of "Nooklerin" resembles the chemical structure of compounds that are metabolites of the brain. The drug is marked neuroprotective properties, that is, its reception protects brain tissue from harmful influences. In addition, the use of "Nooklerin" provides the following effects:

• memory improvement;
• increased activity - both mental and motor;
• facilitating learning;
• the elimination of asthenia;
• improving attention concentration

In childhood, "Nooklerin" is prescribed for asthenic or neurotic disorders. Another drug included in the complex to accelerate recovery from traumatic brain injury. It can also be prescribed to improve attention and memory, including in case of mental retardation.

The solution should not be given to patients with individual hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in case of serious pathologies of the kidneys. In addition, "Nooklerin" is not prescribed for infectious brain damage, blood pathologies and severe liver disease. This medication is also not used in patients with psychotic condition or fever.

Any ingredient "Nooklerina" can cause a skin rash or other allergic reaction, the development of which requires the immediate cancellation of the drug. Other side effects of the drug include sleep problems, constipation, headaches, and weight loss. If they occur in a child, this should be reported to your doctor.

“Nooklerin” is given to children 10–12 years old, at a dose of 0.5–1 g per day, which corresponds to a half or a whole measuring spoon. From the age of twelve, the dosage is doubled, that is, they give a teenager 1-2 g of active substance per day, which he can get from 1-2 measuring spoons.The specified daily dose of the drug is divided into two or three doses, but the last time you can give the solution to the child no later than four hours before bedtime.

Too much of the solution will increase the side effects of “Nooklerin”, for example, provoke constipation, insomnia, pruritus or headache. If an overdose is detected, rinse the stomach and give the child a sorbent. As for the simultaneous appointment of "Nooklerin" with other drugs, then this solution can enhance the effect of drugs that stimulate the functions of the central nervous system.

“Nooklerin” is sold by prescription, therefore, first a child should be examined by a specialist, who will determine if such a nootropic patient is needed. The average price of one bottle of medicine is 400 rubles.

Store the sealed solution at home is acceptable at temperatures below +25 degrees for the entire shelf life (3 years from the date of issue), but the contents of the opened bottle can be used for no longer than 1 month. If more time has passed after the first use, the drug should be discarded, even if the solution inside the vial still remains.

On the application of "Nooklerin" speak mostly positively. Mothers call it effective and affordable, and children tolerate such a tool well (side effects are rare).
