The Russian capital is a universally recognized tourist center of world scale, annually visited by tens of millions of visitors from around the world. Muscovites also love to relax in their hometown, because it provides for this a huge variety of opportunities.

However, all the most famous Moscow sights and hiking trails are designed, for the most part, for adult tourists, but is there something interesting for children? Of course - the kids will also be interested here, just need to know where to lead them.

Moscow is not a beach resort, attractive only in warm weather, nor is it a ski resort, where everyone goes only in winter. In a megalopolis with 12 million resident population at any time of the year, tourist flows do not run out, because there are attractions and all sorts of entertainment for every taste, including those aimed at children.

Of course, there are places in the Russian capital that are best visited during the warm season - these are mainly various parks and other places in the fresh air, and in general it is better to walk in any city in summer. However, if we talk about the New Year holidays, nowhere in Of Russia this event is not celebrated on such a scale as in the capital, moreover, both in various cultural institutions, and directly on the street.

All this suggests that it is possible to come here with the whole family, even with small children, at any time of the year.

And the locals have the opportunity to relax and have fun on weekends all year round.

Arguing about active rest for the whole family in Moscow, they usually mention that there are so many attractions here that walking on them all by themselves is no longer an easy, if pleasant, task. Many local museums will also arouse the genuine interest of young visitors. Little lovers of beauty will surely enjoy the exquisite architecture of past centuries. But it is unlikely that anyone will argue that a child can be occupied with this for a long time - he needs entertainment, and not boring excursions.

It is full of zoos and parks, including thematic ones, and if the weather does not have to walk in the fresh air, you can visit one of the many theaters or circuses.

The picture of the “children’s” places of such a huge metropolis will not be complete without water parks and amusement parks, which are truly amazing.

You can feed a tired little tourist in one of the many local restaurants, many of which even offer a special children's menu. In a word, neither parents nor their children will definitely be able to get bored in this city.

For the greater convenience of visitors, there are special entertainment centers that combine several of the above listed entertainment at once, which allows you to move between them almost instantly.

But it is better to talk about all this in more detail.

What could be better for a child than riding a rollercoaster and swimming in the pool at the same time? For kids, any trip to the water park is a real holiday, especially since they are presented in Moscow in a wide range, and it’s not a matter of trivial slides. If your child is interested in the maximum variety of water attractions, go with him to Kva-Kva-Park.

This institution is in stable demand among Muscovites precisely because entertainment here is for every taste: for adults, for children, and for those who like a relaxing holiday, and for real extreme lovers.

However, even here there is no 5D cinema, as in “Caribbean”, famous for its unique water purity. In addition, the latter is not just a water park, but a whole leisure complex, allowing adults and teenagers to visit the spa, roll balls in billiards or bowling, go to a classical bath, or simply eat in one of the cafes. The list of Moscow water parks is not exhausted - a little less prestigious, but at least a few more interesting ones can be called interesting, for example, Moreon, Kimberley Land, Yuna-Life or Fantasy.

To be in Moscow and to be limited to staying at or near the hotel is a real crime! This city is literally created for walking, with a visit to many interesting places that will permanently crash into memory and make you remember with delight the days spent in the capital. To walk beyond the bounds of a simple wander through the streets, make your own route, starting from the recommended places to visit. Here are just a few examples of where to go:

In a city with a long history, there is always something to see, and the Kremlin is the world-famous business card of Moscow.

If you are lucky enough to bring your family to Moscow in the warm season and in good weather, most of the holidays will probably be spent on walks in the fresh air. Such a pastime is also very economical!

It is worth starting, of course, from Red Square, because it is the photo from here that is the most common proof of being in Moscow, and at the same time - a souvenir for yourself, as a souvenir.

Be sure to also walk along the Arbat and the surrounding streets. For contrast, it is recommended to move from the historic Arbat to the ultramodern “Moscow-City”, where the highest skyscrapers are located in Europe - adults will gasp from such and children will be delighted. With one of the local towers, you can at one glance take a look at all of Moscow (there are observation platforms). An alternative landscape can be contemplated from the height of the Ostankino tower.

Of course, all noteworthy sights of this old city with a long history cannot be listed!

Contrary to its densely populated, Moscow is a fairly green city, and there are plenty of parks here. The most famous is the famous Gorky Park. There is all the park infrastructure in the best sense of the word - and lawns, and rides, and rental of sports vehicles, and even hold competitions.

Kids will be able to try themselves on the site of adults in the “Country of Professions” –Kid’s Entertainment Center “Kidburg”, although there is something similar in many parks.With babies, it is recommended to go to the quiet and cozy park of the Trubetskoy estate. As for the zoos, there are several of them in the capital, but the largest and most interesting is, of course, Moscow.

The “Dinozavriya” center, which is often called a park, despite its non-park essence, became widely known. Children love this place for the characteristic "prehistoric" design of everything necessary for kids, including cafes, slot machines and a children's room.

If you think that most children are not interested in museums, it means that you were taken to the wrong museums as a child. Moscow offers the broadest selection of museum-type institutions, many of which will make your child gasp with delight. First of all, we are talking about the Armory Chamber - everything is obvious with the interest of future men, and the young lady will surely enjoy the local collection of vintage dresses and carriages.

It is provoked by curiosity and the Museum of the Izmailovo Kremlin - there is a huge collection of traditional Russian toys, as well as an excellent exhibition on the history of domestic shipbuilding. And here they will learn to bake bagels or teach the ringer's craft!

Teenagers will also like world-famous adult museums - the same Tretyakov Gallery.

Works on attracting children and the Historical Museum - which is worth only his collection of slot machines from the Soviet period, which even allow little visitors to play!

Most of the children are madly in love with the circus, but here they are incredibly many, and they are all different. The choice of theaters with a “children's” repertoire is even wider - there are at least five puppet theaters in the Russian capital. There are theaters focused on a children's audience (young viewer), and even with a fully children's troupe (young actor). There was a place for this theater of shadows.

In their separate productions, “adult” theaters, including the Bolshoi Theater and Sovremennik, also address the young audience.

The most striking thing is that all of the above does not cover even a tenth of all those interesting places and entertainment that exist in Moscow. In good weather, it would be nice to get close to nature as far as the metropolis allows. Hot summer days are best spent on the beach, on the shore of the reservoir. For this purpose, the Serebryany Bor recreational area on the bank of the Moskva River, as well as the shores of the Meshchersky and Bely lakes, will be perfect.

The peak of the heat, by the way, can be carried out with advantage nearby, having studied Moscow from the water thanks to the boat trip on the river of the same name. Local parks will be an excellent alternative, first of all - Gorky Park.

Of course, children's recreation will not be complete if the parents in a city full of various attractions have not given the child the opportunity to experience at least some of them. In fact, the rides can be found in almost any entertainment children's center, which in this metropolis dozens, but there are recognized leaders in the number of visitors.

If we talk about indoor attractions that take little visitors in any weather, then it is worth mentioning, first of all, the Happylon Magic Park and Happylon Pirates Park complexes.

As the names imply, the subject of the first one is magic and magic, and the second one is typical pirate adventures. Without exception, the rides in these complexes are made in the surroundings corresponding to the name, therefore, in addition to the light adrenaline caused by speed and rotation, the children will also experience the effect of full-fledged entry into a real fairy tale.

In addition to all the above, there are a lot of open-air sites with attractions in the city. Children's towns in some parks are large enough for a child, if the parents have sufficient finances, to spend a whole day there, practically not repeating themselves in the selected roundabouts. The largest in terms of assortment are rightly considered amusement parks "Carousel" in Tushino, "Wheel at the All-Russia Exhibition Center", "AV-Park", as well as Sokolniki and Izmailovsky Park.

In a city that is used to taking tens of millions of tourists every year, there are too many places to settle to give specific advice. In addition to ordinary hotels, there are also resorts and boarding houses, which allow not only to relax, but also to carefully monitor their own health during the holidays.

So that the precious vacation time is not wasted, and the whole family, including children, should be satisfied with the recreation and cultural program, when choosing a place to live in, be guided by the following criteria:

• The proximity of public transport. Moscow is not a small city, it’s quite difficult to get around its central part, especially if you have a child. Having settled near the subway, you successfully solve this problem.
• The proximity of interest sights. Even the presence of the metro at the side does not guarantee that you will easily and quickly get to the planned places - again, the metropolis is too large to cross from end to end. It is unlikely that you went to Moscow without a list of places that you would definitely like to visit - so you will stop near them, especially since the child is unlikely to enjoy the long road through the underground branches, where you don’t even look out the window.
• Good location of the place of residence. Avoid proximity to industrial areas and other noisy places - believe me, with all the bustle, even in the very center of the capital, it is possible to find a secluded quiet corner. If you plan to relax here long enough, make sure that there is a green zone nearby for daily easy walks with children.
• The orientation of the institution on a family holiday. The children's menu offered in some establishments is not only a beautiful PR move, but also a real concern for the health and gastronomic needs of the baby, and the presence of a crib, bath or highchair can be decisive for families with a baby.

In addition, there are areas that, due to a number of circumstances, are recognized as ideal for families with children - for example, Khamovniki, Ramenki, VDNKh and Sokolniki. Quite the opposite glory in such parts of the Russian capital as Biryulyovo, Chertanovo, Pechatniki and Golyanovo.

If your child has a year, or even less, it is still no reason to stay at home with him - Moscow offers special entertainment even for its youngest residents and guests.

Many children's theaters offer interesting ideas for babies, and the First Theater is literally completely focused on this age category.

Finally, in good weather, you can visit any good park, as well as open exhibitions, which are often just in the main city parks and are held - this will allow the child to just walk and breathe fresh air, and parents - to keep up or get acquainted with the capital's cultural life.
