A trip to Yeisk with children: how to plan a vacation?

For many adult Russians living far from the sea, a trip to the resort can be a pleasant memory for many years, and it would be a real adventure for children! Not surprisingly, for a family holiday this option is almost perfect. If traveling abroad is too expensive for many of our fellow citizens, and the limit of dreams within the borders of Russia - Sochi - is too expensive for everyone, then Yeisk seems probably the best place to relax on the sea with children.

Since 2006, Eisku has been officially granted the status of a resort city, but in essence it was considered as such long before this decision. The main magnet for tourists is, of course, a beach holiday, since the city is located on the shores of the warm Azov Sea, not far from the border with the Crimea. These places are characterized by a hot summer (the season starts at the end of June and ends at the beginning of September) and an abundance of beaches with sand and shells, and the small depth of coastal waters seems ideal to organize holidays with children here.

Even in Soviet times, Yeisk was positioned as a "children's" resort, because it has all the necessary infrastructure. First of all, it is known for a large variety of water activities, a chic addition to which are the water park and the dolphinarium, built in 2007-2008. In the city for children built a lot of rides (the main location - the park named Poddubny) and a cafe. Undoubtedly, the most positive reviews (if not to take into account prices) collects housing near the coastline - first of all, on the Yeisk spit. This is the main tourist area of ​​the city, because here it is easy enough to find a hotel with a swimming pool or a playground, while not only luxurious beaches are located nearby, but also an amusement park and a yacht club.

A good location is different and housing in the so-called Merchant Yeisk - the historic center of the city. All the main attractions and attractions are located right here, and housing here will also be expensive, but depending on the exact location, the beach may not be so close.

For those families that are not very demanding to the conditions and want to save money, it makes sense to pay attention to the private sector - for their rest is available the Shirochanka district, quite remote from the center, and some villages of Blizhneysky, Krasnoflotsky and Aleksandrovka. Kamenka beach, located closer to the city center, is also very popular, there is both a sandy and pebble part here. For children, this is a real paradise: the sea is very shallow, and during low tides even numerous islands with straits are formed, which is perfect for games.

All other beaches are relatively small and located at a certain distance from the center. At the same time, during the high tourist season, there is a shortage of beaches in Yeisk, many of which are literally crowded.

It is very pleasant to lie on the beach for a few days, but it would be too boring to spend the whole vacation or at least a week in this way, because in Yeisk there are many kinds of leisure activities, including for children.

Perhaps the most vivid emotions will leave the typically “childish” infrastructure - the dolphinarium and water park, as well as amusement rides. Sometimes two meals a day can be an unpleasant surprise, and some families, on the contrary, may come to the conclusion that they have overpaid, although they could organize meals on their own for a lower price.

• “Punchy” tourists will definitely get lucky - they will find accommodation and food already in place. However, it’s better not to hope for such things with children, therefore it is advisable to book tickets to Yeisk and accommodation in advance.
• If you do not want to spend money, immediately give up the options with meals included in the price. Usually, it is much cheaper to get rest in the case when housing is rented from private owners, and food is bought in the store and prepared on their own.
• A first aid kit for a holiday with children at sea is an absolutely obligatory component of a travel bag. In her, in turn, the key tool is sunscreen.

• When collecting bags, try not to take a lot of clothes with you, you won't need them in Yeisk, but it will complicate the way. If necessary, things can always be washed on the spot, the local climate will allow clothes to dry for several hours.
• The same climate features provoke constant thirst, so water should always be at hand, especially on the beach. You can buy it on the spot, but experienced tourists are advised to stock up in advance, it costs a lot in beach stalls.
