How to store tubing in the summer and how to blow it off correctly?

Content

Winter in our country lasts a long time, in some regions - up to six months, so winter sports and entertainment are becoming increasingly popular. If earlier children preferred to go sledging downhill, now this place is firmly occupied by tubing. Tubing in the winter brings a lot of fun to both adults and children. This is a universal sport that is suitable for everyone. However, it is much less dangerous than skiing or skating.

However, if in winter, tubing brings a lot of positive emotions when skiing, then in the summer period there is an acute question about storing the camera, because its further service life depends on it. Correctly and quickly pull the tubing at home is easy. How to do this, this article will tell.

Design features

The process of storing inflatable sledges is quite simple, since the design does not have large solid parts. Tubing consists of a camera and a cover. The camera is usually made of durable rubber, and the cover is made of PVC.

The case is sewn from individual parts, fastened with strong threads from capron. Since the construction of the sled is made of highly durable materials, during storage it is not afraid of fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The sledge is resistant to various precipitations, be it rain or snow, but it is still better to keep them in a dry room.

Storage conditions

When preparing the tubing for storage, it is necessary to remove all the garbage from it and wash away the dirt accumulated during the winter so that the rubber does not deteriorate. Then you should degrease, rinse and dry the coating of the sled. The camera and the cover should be washed with plain water using a non-aggressive detergent (soap can be used). All these actions will help to extend the life of the object.

If there are holes, minor cuts and cracks, they need to be glued or patched. For the repair, you can use a special adhesive designed for rubber and PVC. The patches should be glued on the inside of the product.

The very "cheesecake" for riding on snow must be blown off. In this form, tubing takes up much less space. You can blow the sled without a pump. It is not as difficult as it may seem at first glance. To do this, you need any thin sharp object. You can use a needle, a needle, a rod or a match.

You need to insert this sharp object into the hole of the sled valve and slightly press on the camera. In the process of compression, the air will gradually come out, and the camera will begin to deflate gradually. After you blow off the camera, it must be carefully rolled up and placed in a bag for the period of summer storage. Cap for blowing "cheesecakes" should be removed in the box, so as not to lose.

Tubing should be stored in a dark and dry place (this could be a garage, storage room or other place). In the collapsed state "cheesecake" will not interfere. You can store the product and on the balcony, but it is worth considering that it is better not to expose the tubing and its cover to direct sunlight, since the material is sensitive to ultraviolet radiation. Kapron threads when in contact with the sun's rays become thinner, their strength becomes lower, the rubber cracks. As a result, a hole may appear in the material at the most inappropriate moment, and the sled can simply be blown away.

Cover tubing should be stored separately. One of the main disadvantages of long-term use and storage is the darkening (less often - complete abrasion) of bright colors of the case. During operation, the paint cracks, erased, or just dims.To preserve the richness of the color, the cover should be placed in the bag for storage time, which closes tightly (due to the tightness of the bag, no condensate drops appear that have a bad effect on the quality of the product).

Thanks to proper storage, the tubing will easily “survive” the summer, and next winter it will rejoice its owners again.
